At Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene, our desire is for you to discover your God-given SHAPE and then use the unique way God has shaped you to make an impact!  Whether you are brand new, or a seasoned volunteer, there are several ways to begin. 

A good way to start is to "try out" ministries by volunteering for a special event or a one time project.  These are opportunities that allow you to explore ministry and a variety of serving roles.  Try it once and move on or get involved as you feel led.  See what might fit for you by using the Ministry Search tool.

As a seasoned volunteer you may know right where to plug in and be ready for a short term or seasonal ministry role.  Scroll through our list of ministries or use our Ministry Seach tool to identify those ministries that fit your shape. 

If you are uncertain where to volunteer or how God has uniquely shaped you for ministry, get signed up for CLASS 301 on Ministry.  This focused seminar will help you discover your SHAPE for ministry, learn about ministry priorities, and give you a chance to meet ministry leaders at OVCN.
